Unhappy Need Help racing GSR

I have a Turbo 2 and my car is bone stock. There is this gsr that wants to race me. Here are the things I think he has.

50 shot nos
race cat with catback exhuast
intake

I think I can take him in a race any tips on what I can do or what mods I can run?

crank your boost up to 20 psi with an FCD and run a 100 shot of NOS

i don't think you'll beat him stock but you never know maybe he is a bad driver, haha.

with just intake, exhaust i doubt the integra will even break 15's. and your car "should" run a high 14 or 15 flat stock. sooo, its the 50 shot that leaves the question. if you put exhaust along with a fuel cut defender on your car i'm sure you'd take him. but race him and find out. i'll bet he'll very upset if you beat him hehe...good luck!

Haha, riiiiiiight. Not sure what planet you guys live on, but I know a guy that runs 14.7's all day long with a GSR with just a cat-back. Now this kid is a decent driver also, but still, even with a bad driver were talking LOW 15's. Gimme a brake "lucky to be in 15s"

At any rate, sounds like he'll be low 14's with the NOS, you'll need an intake, full exhaust, and more boost to come close....

i said lucky to BREAK 15's...gsr's run around 15.4-15.7 stock. with i-e they might get into 14's...but i've never seen it so i'm only stating what i know...

you might have a local guy running 14's...i'm not doubting that...there are 2 guys in the car club here (1 with i-h-e GSR, and one with i-e TypeR...the one time we went to the track neither broke a 15.5. again, just what i've seen

A Type R that can't do better than 15? W/ that much power and only around 2500 lbs? He must be a really crappy driver. What a shame. A stock Type R should do high 14's stock. Jay

I raced a slightly modified gsr in my 88T2 b4 the rebuild(120,000miles on my engine @ the time). I'm bone stock and had bad compression but I still beat him anyway! I don't know how much that 50 shot would help him if he can't get traction.stupid front wheel drive cars
