NEED HELP NOW.. what happend
Car was running fine.... went to hooters... ate came out started car, sounded normal but before it idled down, almost made a grinding/clunk noise and idle went REAL rough..... Checked and changed plugs (they were bad as hell) and made whooshes with the plugs out....
What do u think??? ask questions and i will try and answer them.

I dont know what happens when a apex seal goes out.... thinkin this might be... but why with just starting it???? not even driving hard.. is this common???

nope... just tested to make sure they whooshed.... everything is closed so no access to one since i havent gotten a tester yet....
each rotor whooshed pretty good.... guess that doesnt mean TOO much but figured it was a good place to start

Those are definatly the signs of a lost apex seal
And even worse, they do go on startup a lot... Only choice now is a compression check or trying the wooshes and making sure they're even between the front/rear rotor.

Nothing really, just remove the check valve if there is one on the tester, stick it on there and get someone to turn it over and watch the pulses, should be pretty easy to tell if you lost a seal. And blowing a seal won't usually throw a code.
