Need help NOW!

Okay, I don't doubt that there's already something that will explain the problem I'm having but honestly I don't have time to even search the forums. I need help NOW! Alright, so I went to the car shop where my tII motor was to sell it to this guy because I didn't have enough money to finish the swap. I drive there, everything is totally fine, I let the car warm up everytime before I try and drive it, treat it exactly the way the owners manuel says to. I finish the deal, get into my car, start it and it goes like it normall does with the electronic choke, but then it just started to die, chugged, and it backfires at like 2k rpm and has absolutley no power at all. I havn't even tried to drive it cuz I'm afraid of having a bad apex seal, so does this sound like just that? If it's a blown Apex seal, I'll probably sell it off or junk it and call it quits with rotarys for now because I need to save money for school. But anyways, I replaced the spark plugs just a minute ago and it did absolutley nothing for me. PLEASE HELP!! I need to get this working ASAP. I don't care if I get bashed as long as it's constructive and giving me ideas of what it might be.

Yup, I blew it, cuz when I tried to limp it home, I got it to move maybe 5 ft and I heard this wierd rattle/scrape/really bad noise coming from inside the engine. It wasn't lack of fuel because it was running wayyy rich and backfiring at like 2k rpm, and the coils were both good, got new plugs, checked the plug wires, everything like that. So if anyone wants a roller in SLC, let me know, cuz I'm f***in done with this car.
