need help ?? n/a rx7 max at 100mph???

need help ?? n/a rx7 max at 100mph???

i have a an Rx7 na, and the highest speed i reached is 100. i cant get passed that. when i apply more gas it just feels as if i am forcing the engine. is there anything wrong??? what could it be?? the tach does say 150 mph??

huh thats odd....I've had mine up to 125 or so, coulda gone further prolly. Dunno man you might be leaning out

whatever the tach says does not mean that is what your car can do.......you own a 20 yr old vehicle that your trying to get going more than 100......if it is leaning out then you are gona blow the engine and then you will have a serious problem while going 100MPH

your 5th and 6th port actuators are probably stuck shut, i bet that is the problem.

yeah I can do 100 mph in 4th gear and still have 5th to go. I agree with RX7Boy6 I bet your 6 ports are closed and not allowing more power to get the engine to "pony up"

You'll get to max speed in 4th.

I unhooked mine one time and couldn't go above 100mph.

Yea, mine will go a lot faster. I have a 90 convert, and it goes over 100mph in 3rd. There is something wrong with your car.

If you can't go from 70 to 120+ in 5th gear you have a problem... imo :p

well when mine was runnin fi couldnt go any faster than 120!? i could redline 4th at 120 hit 5th an just sit at 120 no matter what i did it wouldnt go any faster though

I've had my car at 120 in 4th never pushed to 5th gear (in my s4 n/t)
