need help with idle surge
I have a 87 non turbo. some mods like headers from pace setter and a bomz filter and adapter. when the car is cold it does not want to stay running but when it gets warm it surges. I have replaced a bunch of vaccum lines. tps is good and in position. BAC is good. I am lost and help would be appreciated.
thanks
p.s. I have tested the MAF and when I test the IAT sensor i get a random number for not even a second and then it zeros out. Is this bad or good? could this be the problem?
thanks

tps, bac, idle adjustment as best as you can, timing just to make sure, compression is good... clean spark... dunno just running down the line. my bouncy idle was because of my throttle cable being too tight.

Idle sensor? were is that located? I am new to the rotary world. I should have mentioned that sorry. timing is good and it has new plugs and wires as well (NGK plugs). what is the compression suposed to be at? my throttle cable is actually on the loose side. thanks for the tips. keep them coming if you think of other things. please
