need help with idle/starting problem
so ive been having a hard time starting my car and have had a few people look at it and described it to a few people but noone is totally sure whats going on
kinda long but i need help!!
heres basically what ive discovered
the longer the car sits the harder it is to start.....like the first start in the morning is the hardest but if i stop to get gas or something it fires right up.....itll turn over and sound like it wants to start like it will start to rev a little and then just die out...usually bump starting by dropping the clutch will fire it right up....i spok eto a guy at mazda and he said it sounds like a flooding problem so now i use a fuel cut off switch whenever i turn the car off (wired into the relay so i just flip the switch and the car stalls out basically) then i turn the key off
this seems to be working a lot better and it takes like one or two tries to start when its been sitting for a while
the next part is the idle........it wont idle at all no matter what, it just dies out....i figure once i get the starting problem fixed this should be fixed but i duno what to do about it
the car does seem to be running real rich cuz u can smell fuel in teh exhaust fumes when sitting at a stop light or whatever, although my a/f meter stays in the lean area but i think its not hooked up right or its a bad o2 sensor
\anyone got any clues????

Do a basic tune-up
adjust TPS, set idle speed, etc.
See FSM for how to do it. Free at www.fc3s.org under how-to->manual or on sureshot's site.
about idle, could be BAC related.
flooding usually caused by leaky injectors, poor compression, weak battery, wrong fuel pressure.
