Need help hooking up stock airbox in s4 Turbo.
#1
So I got a stock airbox for my 87 turbo and I tried hooking it up but it won't fit properly.
I have the turbo ducting (2 connected pieces ,is that all of it?) , the afm attached to it.
I tried hooking up the air box to the afm but the fitment isn't right , it needs a spacer or something that I seem to be missing.
What is needed for the complete stock airbox setup in a turbo?
It seemed to go together much easier in my na, my car was missing the intake when I bought it and I want to restrict my cars boost so I'm running stock air box.
I'll take pics tommorow, but I'm sure missing something or something just isn't right.

I have a related question that may help you.
The stock air box on my NA has n326 stamped on it. Is the turbo air box really different from the NA. I am now turbo swapped.
So if I wanted to get the stock turbo inlet ducting will the maf line up with the NA airbox?

afm upside down maybe? the afm connector points to the left and the connector goes on top (there is a holder for the harness)

In the future, please take pictures first and then post them with your problem description together so we can help. So far we are going on "Something is wrong with the intake, but I have everything"
At this point it's like trying to win a game of CLUE on the first turn.
But I'll give it a shop: Loosen the clamp so you can slide the TID onto the AFM.
