It is a small round unit with a VAC line to it labeld ABV it is part of the piping right next to the presure sensor. The ABV T's off into the PS and then to the UIM. You wont hear it blow off untill you upgrade. The guage I do not know. Perhaps a bad PS or VAC line or leak. The stock boost guage is useless anyhow to hard to read. Make sure all the electrical on the passengers side wheel well is all hooked up and that you have no VAC leaks.
