AZ need help

I have a 91 RX-7 rear end in my nissan pick up .I know its not a mazda but still need your help.I need to know what the rear end can handle in horse power and torque . it is all stock need to see if it can handle a chevy 350 stock motor .if not where can i get it up graded

They claim the "stock RX7 components" will handle around 500hp, which I assume means the diff and half shafts. But you probably won't be pushing near that much.

I've seen a few 350-driven RX7s. There is a guy here in PHX that has a red one.

400 hp or so but looking at the half shaft they dont look real strong

Half shaft usually doesn't break, the thing it connects to in the diff will break first from what I have been told.

Assuming you have a turbo rear end and not a n/a rear end you should be able to handle a 350.

NA's have smaller shaft and diff sizes.

Plenty of people are running the stock turbo rear end on lots of power.

NA. not many run it so there isn't a real "breaking" power number yet.
Some LSx guys are running NA still.

I personally ran my NA diff until last week in my turbo conversion. I don't drag launch though and that's the big killer.
