Need to get car running... help..

I left the car without turning on for about a month. Now it doesnt turn on. I checked the battery, changed my ecu fuses and still nothing. I tapped the starter to check if thats the cause, but nothing. When i turn the ignition i just get a click from where the ecu is, which is in the passenger side. Please i need to get this running and would appreciate any tips or advise Im hoping the water didnt get into any ecu wiring. .. thank you

Year? Model?

I'm in the same position though. Mine was running, then just stopped after I replaced my thermo with the oem unit.

Try to compression start it. The FC has and "interlock" switch that gets all gummed up and makes it difficult for the starter to get voltage.

The click near the ECu is the heater blower cut relay and not a problem with starting the car.

No series car stated. IF it were a series four car that click would mean the interlock switch is good and the starter cut relay is good and there is no THEFT device preventing the starter from turning.

The above is not true for series five cars.

IF it's a series four car get under the car with it out of gear. Pull the small wire off the starter solenoid. Now with the shank of a screw driver make contact with the small blade on the starrter solenoid and the large cable attached to the solenoid. IF the starter spins let us know.

I have a 88 t2. With haltech ecu. Tuned, etc..... it was running fine One month ago. Left it over rainy days now nothing. The only thing i could think of is the starter. Or maybe ecu? Any thoughts?

A bad ECU seems somewhat unlikely in this particular case.

Not to be an "echo"... But try what HAILERS said.

ok, so i tried what was said and the car didnt turn on. i tried posting a video to show how it sounds but the file was too big. The starter turns, but eventually dies out before the car could turn on. kinda sounds like when the batt is dying. Im not sure if thats how it sounds because i kept on trying to turn it on or because the starter is no good. what do you guys think?
