Need electrical advice.

Well, I decided to remove my dash to fix my air con ducting (the foam seals were gone and it was leaking most the air under the dash) and run some wires properly that the previous owner had not done. It has the tein EDFC and the wires kept hanging down near my feet and all was going well, I routed them with the factory loom. Got rid of a couple of birds nests of wires. Then i got to the turbo timer and **** hit the fan. I saw a couple of wires (red and yellow) with some soldered joints with no heatshrink of them and figure its a good idea to desolder the joint, put some heatshrink on so I dont have a fire under my dash. So I undo the plug, oh wait gotta undo that plug too and that one then all the sudden WTF IS THIS ****. There were 5 or so plugs joining different coloured wires together and all the plugs were the same. Here is 2 pictures of what they look like:

Quick edit: Incase you can't tell its coming off the ignition barrel.

Also I am aware I should have marked them before disconnecting, I just didnt think of it at the time.

The first picture looks like some of the plugs for the igniton switch. Those would be the two wire connector with BLACK and BLACK/WHITE..................BLUE and BLACK/RED.

There should be another ignition switch plug with a single BLACK/BLUE wire in it.

That's if it's a series five car. Series four is similar except the BLACK/BLUE is BLACK/RED.

Follow the plug with BLACK/WHITE and BLUE wires back and see if they are not a part of the igniton switch pigtail. I bet they are. Same with the W/R and B/Y connector. IF those two plugs go back to the ignition switch then the two plugs I mentioned in my first sentence are to be coupled with the ones in this sentence.

Ok well odd, my car is a series 5 but the BLACK/BLUE wire you mention is BLACK/RED like series 4.

Now the 2 pictures, the bottom one was of what plugged into these. I just went and had a play and if you look at the top picture I have connected the:

BLACK/WHITE + BLACK WHITE plug too BLACK + RED/BLUE

BLACK + BLACK/WHITE plug too BLACK/YELLOW + RED WHITE

Sorry if I've got that wrong the way you wrote it confused me. The second picture is the abortion the PO has made up for the turbo timer, I'll attempt to find a manual for it and work out where it goes. Is that right for how I have set up the other plugs though, I really don't feel like putting the dash back in, getting this wrong and blowing a relay up or something silly lol. Thank you so much for your help hailers.
