Well, I bought her. Made it back to Oklahoma yesterday.
The day I flew in, I drove her off and the clutch master went out within like 30 miles! Limped back to RRR and got it replaced.
On my trip back I noticed some idiosyncrasies that the RRR team somehow failed to notice in their "thorough" inspection:
-The AC works, but when under slight load you can hear the belt slipping with immediate loss of power.
-Cruising between 83-90 mph there is sporaticly brief hesitation. This happens in 4th gear as well as 5th, and didnt appear to be an RPM related issue, as I can't replicate it at any other speed or RPM range regardless of gear.
-Engine vibration above 6k rpms.
Ive been scouring the search option for leads on the latter two issues, of anyone has some relevant wisdom please advise. For the AC problem I think its a bad compressor?

Compressor clutch is failing. Loss of power is it engaging when it shouldn't. They are stupid easy to change. Just rent/buy the gauges and pump from autozone/advanced. Change the receiver dryer, compressor, o-rings, test vacuum, charge and go.
Engine vibration could be mounts on the motor and the tranny going. Being as old as it is it they are probably dry rotted.

2, hesitation, i don't recall if this one has an aftermarket exhaust on it or not, but if it does, the closed loop can cause a small hesitation as the mixture switches. if its stock exhaust, possible o2 sensor?
engine vibration. step one is to check the mounts, engine and transmission. step 2 would be to start removing belts, rule out the ps pump, ac compressor, air pump and alternator, and water pump/fan before you go any further

check the belt first. possible bad compressor, but still you may want to have someone who is willing to work on AC look at it.

The only aftermarket piece on this is the stereo. Its mechanically 100% stock. The belts and mounts all have less than 6k miles on them.
The "hesitation" feels like if I were to take my foot off and on the gas real quick. It only does it when maintaining constant speed in the 80's.
The for the advice, I will take it to an AC guy.

Do the R152a conversion with the duster cans, it's cheaper and easier than converting to R134a (which is on its way out already).
