NA wiring harness in a turbo car

Hey everyone can i use an 88 NA vert harness in my 3/87 turbo car? I know that this wiring harness is high imp and i have low imp so i need to wire in resistors but which ones again? Also should i use my turbo ecu or the vert ecu? What ohm resistors do i need anyway?

You could use the solenoid resistor package that is now on your low impedence car. It's located a foot below the afm/air filter assy.

Actually using a n/a harness in a turbo takes a bit more fiddling around than you might think. There are MATING connectors from the n/a emissions harness to the turbo Front harness and you would have to move wires around in those two connectors. They're called FEM-01 and FEM-02 in the 88fsm and X-15 and X-16 respectively in the 87 manual.

In other words it sounds like a major pain to do it. See the jpgs attached of X-15 and X-16 and note the ( ) around the wires peculiar to the turbo vs the non turbo. Those wires would need to be swapped around and before you did that you'd have to know what each wire does in life before swapping the wires around.

The EM or emissions harness contains the wires for the afm.boost sensor, variable resistor, solenoid resistor, all four injector plugs, water thermo sensor, the grounds for the ECU, afm, air intake temp sensor and about five or six other things I forgot about.
