NA to Tii diff swap quick question

When you swap a NA diff with a Tii lsd will the NA drive axles work or do I need new ones? Also any recommendations on a drive shaft with the NA tranny /Tii LSD setup? Thanks in advance

If you use the TII lsd, you will NEED the TII trans, TII axles, TII driveshaft, TII flywheel, TII clutch, and why not the TII motor...

Or you can go to i think mazdatrix.com and get the N/A to TII driveshaft...

you just contradicted yourself

for the swap you NEED the diff, TII axels and the mazdatrix or custom driveshaft.

You do not NEED the TII trans, clutch and flywheel.

well im sure its going to be alot more than $150 when on mazda trix you have to special order the driveshaft and the other special made driveshaft they have is $288, and thats the price for the more common tII tranny to n.a. rear end.

Yeah... Your missing some parts there people... The drive-shaft is indeed cheaper. In fact I am running a TII rear end in my n/a car... I just modified my drive-shaft I had. And the tranny and other things are not the cheapest. Since you still have to buy flywheel clutch, start, etc... Shame on you, thinking that route is cheaper. Oh on top of the the TII drive-shaft... So I say Mazdatrix n/a to TII drive-shaft or modify/custom one.

When I asked for rec's on the driveshaft I meant brand wise. Looking at these responses I'm disgusted. You people seem to know absolutely nothing about 7's You are all basically telling me to rebuild my entire drivetrain. None of these answers were even close to the information I was seeking. Someone spare us all and kill this thread

What they were doing is suggesting a better option.
And they did suggest a brand of driveshaft, MazdaTrix. There are very few companies that will cater to the FC these days, and driveshafts are either OEM or custom like already suggested.
And to answer your other question, you will need the T2 halfshafts in addition to your T2 rear end.

Finally the answer to my question! Thank you. Unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna have time to do my diff swap. My drive shaft sounds like it's about ready to come through the floor and I think my trans mount is roached too. I'm just gonna stick with my diff and fix what's broken and just upgrade to an aluminum drive shaft. just don't have the time to track down all the parts my FC is my daily and I can't stand not driving it daily

Just make sure the shafts are the same series as the diff, S4 and S5 are different.

I know what you mean by having to DD your 7. I Daily'd mine for 4 years now and could never do anything until to it until I had all the parts and a long weekend with all the tools prepped.

UPDATE!!!!!!
So just to top things off my alternator took a **** on me on my way home from school. I got to ride in a tow truck all the way home! Fun city! I feel like an FC statistic. My car ran so sweet until I hit 200k a couple weeks ago, and it's been all downhill since then. Is there something hooked to the odometer that makes everything go to **** after 200k? Oh well, I told that car today I'll be damned if I'll give up on her. I will spend every penny I have on that car to keep it alive and well. It's my second kid for god's sake
