NA BAC valve on an S4 TII?

I just got a BAC valve that I ordered to replace my apparently faulty one, but I didn't know it was the NA type (blue instead of green and no idle screw). Can I make it work well enough or will it be fine just swapped straight in?

I already know they're different, but instead of me looking around for another one I wonder if I can make this one work. I don't think the old one works at all, so it may not make any difference as long as it will fit on the UIM, but it sure would be nice if it'd help my idle issue somewhat.

TOO BAD I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 WEEKS TO RECEIVE MY DAMNED DOWNPIPE, I CAN'T RUN THE MOTOR WITHOUT IT, MAZDAENTHUSED.

It shouldn't matter. I went from a broken screw T2 version to a non-screw na version on my 88 T2. Seems to be fine after 2 years.

What do you idle at? And do you have AC? Those are the main concerns. I want to be able to idle around 750 like I'm supposed to and still use my AC.

I'd be happy if mine did that. We'll see once I get it running!
