n350 pressure sensor on 87 turboII

n350 pressure sensor on 87 turboII

so i was trying to figure out my bogging problem on my 87 turboII and i fixed everything on the car and the last thing i didn't check was my pressure sensor so i checked the voltage and it was 3.5 on the brown/red wire so that meant i needed a new one.i was searching around on the forum for a pressure sensor and i found out a n350 pressure sensor is for a n/a!!!!!now wtf this pressure sensor has been on my car for i don't know how many years what harm could i've done or is the n350 for a turboII im confused right someone help me!

I have seen both running on the cars before. I cannot see the sensor hurting anything. if it was running ok in the past it has just had a failure. I would replace it with the correct one which the model year requires. Probably only diffrence would be the voltage curve over a given pressure range. If much at all.

n318 is the s4 t2 pressure sensor.

ok im for sure getting a new pressure sensor but do i have to change everything again for the n318 pressuer sensor for ex. the timing? also what harm could it of done to my engine my car runs pefect except right when i hit 0 on the boost gauge it bogs for a split second then goes into boost.

There would be no harm done by the sensor bad and there should be no timeing change needed. Just be sure to order the correct one through your dealer or on the web like mazdatrix etc... They will look it up based on your year and options.
