and ask abunch of guys who may or may not hate them about turbos??????
and if your car is n/a u are gonna have alot more to worry about then picking the right turbo. how about u go look in the 2nd gen section

All you need to do is check the FAQ. The FAQ is the first place you should look before asking as question. NA to turbo conversions come up several times a day and are thus well covered in the FAQ and archives.

hey Aaron Cake... what A/R would be good for a S5 N/ to turbo mod? I see alot of people selling a 1.15 hotside but I think that is for a turbo motor... would that be ok for a high compression motor? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

That kit is nothing more then some China parts assembled into a rough combo.
The turbo is a typical China turbo. I've seen this EXACT turbo in person and it did look like it was well constructed. If you are looking for a cheap turbo it will probably do the job and make 350HP or a little more without too many issues. Probably won't be reliable for 100K but then again, you might not need it to be. That turbo does not have a turbine exit flange. You'll need to press in or weld a v-band fitting to it.
I wouldn't trust a China wastegate at all. Again, they do work but you can't be certain of the material quality and assembly quality. If it sticks, you have a problem.
The BOV is probably fine. The world will not come to an end if a cheap BOV fails...just swap it for another.
You are missing still a LOT of parts. Oil lines, intercooler and piping, injectors, standalone, fuel pump, downpipe, exhaust, gauges, etc.
That manifold makes me want to weep. The wastegate runner placement is about as poor as it gets. There is virtually no way to make it suck more unless you actually blocked it off internally. Those manifolds are of questionable quality and have been reported to crack very easily. In addition, it won't clear the NA lower intake.
I don't recommend you run the S5 rotors under boost. The compression is pretty high and while I have never done it, most who have blow their engines easily. The A/R of the turbo is a bit big for stock ports, but will be fine.
