If you get an automatic drive shaft you can mate the turbo transmission to your non turbo diff. The Problem is the auto drive shaft is slightly shorter. I will still work though, especially if you aren't going to be driving it hard. Mazdatrix also sells an adapter drive shaft, but that would cost you more than a used rear end ![Frown](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Yes, you N/A transmission will bolt to the Turbo engine, but you need to use the na flywheel pressure plate and clutch, the na clutch slave is needed also since its pushrod thingy is slightly longer.

lots of people do it and have no problems u just need a really good clutch. check out arron cake he has a massive turbo on a n/a driveline and hasent had hardly any problems.
to use the n/a trans though u need to swap out the flywheel for the n/a one and not use the t2 one

My turbo drive shaft was drilled to work w/ an n/a dif. The driveshaft is hub centric (spelling?) so I dont see what would be wrong w/ doing this. My buddie's s4 n/a also has a turbo trans w/ n/a diff and they did the same thing.

The only time a clutch comes into play will be abruptness in engagement. If the clutch is an unsprung unit and you're having to practically dump it to get the car going, it's going to be very hard on the drivetrain. But anyone who runs a clutch like that on the street is crazy anyway...

Really, if the transmission is in good shape it should be fine. If it's a 200K unit that's already worn out, it will break.

alright so my options are limited for what i want to do...i already have the turbo tranny on with starter, slave cylinder etc....i also have my act clutch on to....so its possible to drill slot my turbo driveshaft to fit? does anyone have pictures of theres possibly co i can see how u drilled the holes. i was also thinking about just selling my whole n/a drivetrain and picking up the turbo rear end and half shafts. that would make things a hell of alot easier.
