I am a member with FAFracing and can vouche for GLHS.... We all believe that his 2nd gen is one of those freak well put together factory monsters. Bdoty I think that some of the sideways 2nd gear pulls comes from the fact that his car weighed in at about 2100 lbs which is roughly 750 lbs weight reduction compared to stock. And he has a cold air header box and every redneck mod that can be done. 330,000 miles on a stock ported engine that has never been opened up running low 14s aint bad is it? hehe. Weight reduction = good.

He has a first gen. GSLE or soemthing. No such thing as factory freak. It has rotors and apex seals .. No matter how you put them in it will make the same compression as any other.

My friends miata gets sideways in second

LOL von....we all THINK that it is a factory freak hehe. I have heard tales of some motors being built just a little bit better during the beginning to middle of the week when workers are more alert whereas thursday and friday are days that you just want to end. I dunno if I believe in it but this would be a good candidate for one of those freak motors if there was one. It is not a first gen. I believe that it is an 86 sport. He hasn't drilled any holes in the interior yet. Yes it is gutted (still has plastic dash though...nothing underneath it though) and all that you posted about what he took out he did. He still has factory glassin all his windows. It was with a 1/8-1/4 tank of gas I believe when weighed. You can get a Miata sideways in just about any gear with the factory tires hehe very fun cars to drive.

Little bit o Sawz-all weight reduction in front for the sole purpose of cold air ducting and header air ducting. E-fan from a turbo dodge. so the only belts on his crank are the water pump and alternator..... I ran a 15.5 the same night he ran a 14.5 and a few days later he had his two kids and his wife in the car with him and walked me no problem from a stoplight race in Tampa lol.

PS- Sorry if I stole your fire GLHS but I am very envious of your car. Wub you Levi!

It is cool bdoty. I didn't even take your post as a flame or bs flag. I was just pointing out some other points that GLHS forgot to throw out there. Everyone on the board thinks it is a big pile n e way...I don't know why I am even posting about this car. I guess it was because I am still pumped up about the stock 13b dune buggy z06 kill. Gives us NA'ers hope. And the dune buggy only weighed 1000 lbs less than GLHS's car.

Guys listen... I am not one to make up ****.. I am way too old for that type of crap.. The internet has plently as it is

The car is actually a 1988 SE, I have less than $500 in mods, and that includes the $200 for the header and $280 for the SS exhaust.. I got the filter for free....

If you guys can only chrip second, lose weight in the car.

The car will go all the way around in second if you push it hard.I can catch 3rd,gear, and make 4th side step.

I saw a nissan sentra that they got to run 13s stock by removing weight. I think If I had no interior and a ported IM and LSD I could probably get 13s

this 502streetscene is mostly people that got banned from louisvillestreets (everyone got banned for reasons unknown so we made our own site) everyone is 18-23 ish. its more of a friendly do what you want (not ****) atmosphere than the louisvillestreets and some cute girls hang out so you should come by man
