N/A FC injectors

Will FD3S injectors fit in an NA FC? A friend of a friend has an NA FC with several bad injectors and he wants to use my leftover FD injectors. From the pictures I've seen it looks like the FC uses more of a top feed style injector rather than the side feeds of the FD. Anyone have some input on this? I'd rather not waste my time going to get the injectors right now if they're not going to work in this kid's car.

one way or another its not going to be a direct drop in. FD injectors (at least the secondaries, if not the primaries too) have a higher flow rate and would make the car run poorly even if they did drop right in (assuming you do no tuning to compensate). and if they dont fit , youde have to make a custom fuel rail which kinda defeats the purpose of saving money. i think the best bet is to find a good set of used ones and then have them cleaned or just fork over the $$$ for new ones that will work correctly right off the bat.

FD injectors are side feed, while the FC are top feed. Theyre not compatible withough some re-working/modification of the fuel rail and harness plugs. PLus as stated above, youd be using 850cc (correct?) injectors in the N/A..which are wayyy to large (stock is 460cc).

Just like Rxmfn7 said. you'll need to modify the fuel rail.

Top feed / Side feed = Way different.

good luck,

Right, you guys dont have to preach the differences to me, lol, I just wasnt sure if that was true and the FC was in fact top feed, now is an NA FC 4x460cc top feeds? cuz i happen to also have a set of 465 top feeds from a turbo honda that might work...
