civic yes, prelude, probably not, 240sx maybe. Watch out for those civic si's. I would sell the car and get a turbo'd version.

Just wondering, does a 2nd gen RX-7 of any model, come with a Renesis?

What were we talking about

I had no problems against similarly mod'd GSR's, preludes, etc in my 2nd Gen NA.

Well, before you answer, read what he said, any 2 rotor engine is going to be slow, I answered correctly.

Actually, he said "2 rotary engines are going to be slow n/a." so I guess we need someone to put 2 engines in a car and see what happens. j/k

Seriously though...kenny, why is 550hp not enough for you?

I get sick of seeing N/A guys talk about beating ricers. That's not an accomplishment, it's a mild amusement.
You're absolutely right - beating ricers is only mildly entertaining. After you do it daily for a couple years, it becomes an annoyance. I've beat a couple relatively stock 4.6's and fox bodies, but I have no misconceptions as to why I beat them - I was the better driver. Swap cars - I would still win, but in their pony.

On the same topic - I did race a friend of mine in, yes, a civic hatchback with a b16a, cams, gears, all the bolt-ons and tuned...he kicked my *** (as he did some kids in a stock cobra that couldn't drive). His car was good for a mid to low 14. DRIVER DRIVER DRIVER

Bikes are sweet, and they have thier place. Much rather see you modify a bike
They make turbo kits for bikes. Getting a bike on one wheel at 80-90mph is one thing, having it want to come up on you at 140mph is another (900rr with a Mr. turbo kit). I'll leave my bike relatively stock, thank you

Don't get off topic. Is it that hard to understand the point of what was said? Obviously the NSX is a formable car. They are very difficult and expensive to modify, which doesn't suit my fancy, but formidable none-the-less. Even the s2k is "decent". Same deal as the NSX, hard to modify.

I would not waste my $$ on a Honda. They don't modify well. I had a 94 GS-R, it was stock, I loved it.

I have no problem seeing the point of what he said...I just don't see the purpose. People love to throw out horsepower numbers like they are turning something close, and it gets old. Bashing a car because it can "only" push out 550hp is stupid...an S4 RX-7 can't push that reliably, and certainly not without considerable expense.

LOL. I've seen videos, and read about them. Various turbo kits out there. Most of these bikes, depending on mods, have the power to wieght ratios to run 7-8 second QMs. Yet they can't hit past 9s. That alone should tell you something.

At least get a yoshimira exhaust. They sounds so gorgeous .

I was comparing your reading comprehension to a 4th graders, not saying you're in 4th grade.

There are other ways of doing it with less ugly, better handling cars. - TII is one of them.

Clear enough?

You said, and I quote:
NSX isn't. Block won't take over 550hp or something low like that.

For the price tag of that car you could go so much faster in an FC. Again, off topic.
You didn't say anything about the cost of mods, only the cost of the car. Secondly, if you think the FC looks better than the NSX, then that's fine. I happen to disagree. Third, it was never unclear...I just wanted to know why you scoffed at 550 hp, and now you're saying you didn't, you scoffed at the price of mods.

I think the 3rd gen rx7 looks better then the nsx and faster too. NSX's = high priced V6 that looks like a vette.

I was directly replying to you - with a quote.

NSX is NOT worth modifying (not worth it means COST).

A V6 that can't make more than 550 hp is weak IMO.

I happen to like the way the NSX looks. I like Hondas in general, as they are very well engineered cars. I could never justify buying one though, they simply don't modify well enough... Thier manifolds, head designs, cam profiles, etc are all very efficient from the factory. Turbocharging a high compresion engine does not make the most sense either.

How did we get to talking about fast cars all of a sudden ? Do we all agree that the N/A 2nd gen is basically a turd in a straight line then?
