Mystery Plugs and Sockets behind Radio

Behind the radio I found these two plugs and this empty socket. They don't seem to match up with anything on the factory radio, however the radio harness is completely butchered. They also are not the cigarette lighter, as you can see that plug and light socket in the bottom of the picture.

Can anyone help ID these?

Thanks!

Jack

Can anyone identify these plugs and socket??

Probably Texas Domestic Market specific.
Lighting controls for the optional hood mounted longhorns, perhaps.

Clokker-When I saw you had posted, my spirits were lifted. An answer? Alas, no.

The TDM market is A/C-centric.

I sought to provide solace, not solutions.

Because I have no ******* idea what those are.

Im sure you already know the radio was modular, once an aftermarket one is wired up most of that wiring is not used

Yep. The Stereo wiring is seperate from these plugs. All the stereo plugs were cut off , the original wires are inventoried and accounted for. I have the original radio- it was stuck back in the dash just to fill the hole. None of these frikken plugs match any of the sockets in the back of the radio.

Figured it out this morning. I had previously focused on the lamp socket. The only lamp socket in the wiring diagram is for the glove box light. Obviously, the harness doesn't reach.

Page 106 in the S4 wiring diagram (marked 50-118 on the page).

These connectors are the overdrive switch plug, the overdrive indicator plug and the 'Not Used' lamp socket.

The auto based shifter surround has a light connection on it.
I also noticed that the white wire(single connection) is part of the stereo harness so it is most likely plugged into the back of the unit.

Never been in an automatic FC.

Yes, the single white wire plug is stereo, the other three were the concern. Now I can leave them behind the radio with no worries.
