My twin turbo FC, long since last update, not dial up friendly
well, is been a long time since i updated my car. im been in this forum since 02 i think, i had 3 different rx7s and my lasted i have now i hardly updated it in the forum. i had my 89 FC GTU 2+2 since august of 05 and is been thru everything. started out as a bone stock automatic that was hacked up by the previus owner and trust me when i say it was hacked it was. the guy took the S5 motor and swaped it for a S4 and on top of that he removed the FI and put a holley carb with a racing beat intake that it was for a turbo II. yeah so i got it and in the travel from were i got it to my house i lost one of my flash to pass light and the automatic tranny when bad on me at my house that same day. well i decided since i ddint have no money back then to do anything that i swaped the auto to a turbo II tranny from my previus FB project i had so i got a panspeed flywheel and use the all the turbo II stuff and brought a turbo to N/A driveshaft and after i got everything a month later. well i drove it for about another month and the engine decided to expired on me so with the help of my friend me and my friend decided to just replace was it was broken wich it was a cracked apex seal. so we change the apex seal and i decided to find all the pieces to converted back to FI again and a monmth later got it on the road again with the S4 engine and a pieced up n/a FI sistem. by that time it was winter and i had to drive it becuase i didnt have no money for another car. on the meantimei had my turbo II motor sitting on my shed and i decided little by little rebuild it and winter when by and by april of 06 my turbo II motor was done and i decided to put it on my car. i pretty much had all the parts for the turbo II engine so i didnt sort out to get any and i put it up in a day and that same day it was running with the turbo II motor with all my N/A ecu and the rest of my N/A stuff. ran a PVC pipe from the turbo to the intake bcus i didnt had a IC yet. well time when by and i was exited that i had turbo power and i was going to work on the other stuff. got to get the car running good and family problem started and pretty much my car was put a side. drove the heck out of it with still the proper care and stuff but never got to fix anything that when wrong on it. never had the money for it and when a hole year with pretty no maintance drove it because that was my only car. finally got a break everything family wise got better, got a second car and got better so i started working on it again and got to be able to put the turbo II rear end and a few other stuff fixed some of my problem and got back the car i started. autox a couple of times and ran pretty good and so far was great, until i got family issues again and pretty much when down hill. my GF for 3 years decided to dump me and my car blew the motor and back to sqare 1. no car. so since august of last year i didnt do anything to the car. sat in my mom driveway for months. i was depress and didnt feel like working on it at all. then a buddy of mine called me and ask me if i can help him change his motor on his 3rd gen and well i said yeah to keep my mind off what i was going thru. he got a JDM engine and i helped him swap it on his rx7 and gave me all his old parts. i got a little boost of confident and decided to see what was wrong with his old 3rd gen motor and it was just a cracked apex seal. so i decided to then well how cool is to have a 3rd gen engine in my car with all the twin turbos and everything so, durung last winter i decided to rebuild the 3rd gen motor and do research on stuff and when april came i had all the stuff ready to work on my car again. but my car sat all winter and it was on a ruff shape and i needed attention bad. so i cleaned it up. took the old motor out and put the 3rd gen in with the twin turbos and everything and by may i had it running and did some work since and heres some pics of it right now.

it took me 3 years to get here. alot of ups and downs. today is my 3rd aniversary that i have with my car and i still love my car since day one. and now im better in life. got better at work so theres money for the rx7 now and well seems i never give up i still have it.
thanks to alot of ppl that help me here and in the 3rd gen forum and on rotary performance

93 stock port and rebuild 13BREW enginewith atkins internals, rebuild by me with 99 spec turbos, sequencial
ApexI Power FC ecu with 3rd gen engine harness modified for the 2nd gen body
Apex I power flow intake
racing beat turbo back exhaust, hks modified downpipe
walbro pump, 550 and 1300cc injectors
ebay special 3 inch IC pipes and intercooler
ATC flywheel, clutch and PP
S4 turboII tranny and S4 clutch type rear end
turbo II front calipers n/a rear calipers with hawks HPS pads on napa replacement rotors
3rd gen radiator with stock fans
tien springs, tokico illumina shocks, turbo II front swaybar and N/A rear swaybar, ebay front and rear strut bars
rear toe steer eliminators
rear adjustable camber bar
and more. i can remember everything else i have. so much i done to it since i swapped the motor that i cant keep track. dont ask me how much i spent because is been alot.

Nice Seven! Even though it hurt my eyes to read (not enough breaks), interesting. Good for you for persevering through all that crap. It looks really good and I hope you enjoy it.

Very nice! I got bored the other day and tinkered with bolting a set of non-seq twins that i had laying around up to my GTUs to see how it'd all fit. Thought there'd be a lot less room than that though!

Wow! Nice! How's the downpipe?? I suppose it wouldn't be to much of a problem fitting in the FC chassis with the 13BREW, right? I tried bolting a set of FD twins on a 13BT, I had to use a spacer to clear the LIM which gave me about 2.5" between the downpipe flange and the chassis. :/ That car looks VERY good though! Any dyno numbers on it?

Awesome 7. Great deal with the REW. Your car looks like something I'd be VERY satisfied with, right next to a 20B swap. Good work. It gives me hope for my own project.

Please use some sentence structure. Properly placed capital letters would be great too. Doesn't have to be perfect. I know my own grammar sucks.

Great job Eddie. For some reason, I can't see the pics on my ROKR E6, but I can imagine. I think its great that you didn't give up on your project. For every one RX-7 brought back to life, 10 died in the hands of others. I can relate to your battle. I got my 10thAE back in 05, and that car has been with me through all kinds of ups and downs. Great job. Great perseverance.
