My TII swap

ok boys, the parts are mostly all here...just waiting for my BOV and boost gauge...so far I have:

-kevin landers complete TII rebuild w/ streetport and all conversion items
-HKS downpipe
-GReddy FMIC
-Walbro pump
-HKS F-CON

The injectors and turbo are stock and healthy...do I need a boost controller? when the motor goes in the wastegate will be ported. does the FCON control boost at all or will I run into unsafe creep problems. I think w/ the FCON and FMIC (more piping = pressure loss) i will be ok w/ creep up to 13psi. I can get a cheap manual boost controller but I'd like an electronic one and I just dont wanna spend the $ on an EVC IV now. whatcha think?

*we got a lil section in the shop of all my parts hehe*

id say get a boostcontroler and port the hell out of your wastegate. my friend has freeflowing exhaust, ported TB and he boostcreeps uncrontrolably on cold days

found out the FCON is just for fuel (since it was the highest tech in the '80s and comes w an FCD I thought they might have some method of boost control). we have a bunch of turbo XS MBC's at the shop, if need be I'll put one in. From what I've heard the FCON will run the stock injectors safely enough to support 13 psi, I'm sure the FMIC helps the margin of safety considerably since anything over 10psi pretty much soaks the stock IC.
