Just curious but i notice that oxidation on the black part of the taillights and i have the same problem on my vert s5 tails, any easy way to get rid of that? it really looks awful in the daytime.

Please keep this thread civilized. There are a few posts right on the line, and I'll simply delete the thread if it gets out of hand.
Personally, I think it looks quite stupid and is very unsafe. The new shape of the lenses don't go with the lines of the car at all. And anyone who says that this tinting does not drastically reduce the light output is just kidding themselves.
Better check with your insurance company, because if I was the broker and you got rear ended, I would void your claim due to the lights.

looks pretty good but does seem a little dangerous, LEDs would help them be brighter and the unpainted strip should probably be wider. just my opinion of course, i like when the trim around the lenses are the same color as the body like on my black s4 t2.

first off theres only 2 light coats of regular high gloss black spray paint from the hardware store, the entire lense illuminates when the light is on NOT JUST THE UNPAINTED STRIP. Secondly there is no visable differnce differnce between the painted and the unpainted sections of the tail lights when illuminated.
Oh and sorry about the triple post my pc frooze up when posting

you should shave the tailights completely. how dope would that be?
lol. sorry.
my opinion is that it is a bad idea. not only does it look odd / cheap but the whole safety thing too is an issue.

Oh, and on my white TII you can see where I used the Niteshade on my FTP's etc.
The Niteshade isn't opaque like paint.
