All the crap I removed, and the engine light on makes me think I still have errors...

Well, then it doesn't make much sense You grounded the green connector near the battery/leading coils? Where did you ground it? I usually stick it in the battery terminal so that I know for sure it is, and I always have error codes due to none of the solenoids being on the car. But, *anyway* If the check engine light stays on after you start the car normally, it should throw error codes. check out www.1300cc.com for more info

You may want to unplug your battery for about 30 seconds then plug it back in and try again.
