My Oil
I have a 1988 Rx7 none turbo, and lately it's been consuming oil...I replaced the oil Filter O rings, cuz that was the only place I saw spillage, however, the car continues to use oil...1 quart ever 100 miles.it doesn't smoke and it starts with no problem...what else should I check, do I have to take it to a dealer..I don't wanna get screwed!!

Is it smoking? You might check to OMP rod to make sure it hasn't come off the TB and is stuck in full pump. Other than that, no puddles under the car? Is there any signs of oil leaking in the engine bay or under the car anywhere??

No smoke, and the only area I saw a leak was under the oil filter...new O rings fixed that problem...what is a "OMP rod"? and how do I check that..where is it located?
Question...having a BAD oil sender wounldn't cause this problem???

Depends on which oil sender you mean. There is the oil pressure sender and the oil level sender. Neither should be affecting your oil levels unless it is leaking around them. You would see that under the car though. You are determining the level via the dipstick correct?
The OMP (Oil Metering Pump) is right under where the airpump is, and to the left of the main pulley. It looks like a block stuck to the side of the engine, and has some brown lines coming off of it and going up towards the top of the engine. It will also have a metal connecting rod that goes from the OMP to the throttle. It controls the amount of oil that is injected into the engine depending on your throttle position via that rod.
