I have thoses same rims on my car ull love them. you might have to get a spacer for the front caps to fit on the rim after there installed , thats what i had to do to pop thoses center caps on , just alittle fyi for ya.

35 offset should be good. if you put the 30mm wide fenders on, you'd have at least a 30mm gap between the inside of the fender and the wheel. I'd actually get something lower than 35 for an 8 17x8 wheel with the stock fenders(so it'd stick out more)...but I have issues when it comes to wheel fitment.
anyway, you definetly won't need wider fenders for those wheels.
oh, and post pics when they're on! and what size tire you planning on running?

True, you do get the basic LOOK of $$ wheels but they don't offer the large selection of sizes or offsets. For an 8 inch wheel, that's a pretty high offset and it will sit in the wheel well a fair amount. Maybe some spacers would be a good idea if you want to fill the fenders. Still, when short on $ the replicas are a good buy and I think they will look great on an FC.
Here is our 350Z shop car with Work Emotion CR Kai's, 18X8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear (+30 front, + 20 rear).

Also, most newer companies that are coming out (and even some older companies that are bringing out new wheels, like Enkei) are starting to make knock-offs. Tenzo wheels are almost all knock-offs. They have the Shu-4's, which are knock-offs of the old school Schumaker wheels, they also have knock-offs of Mugen RNR's and many others. There's not much that you can find anymore that's "original." It seems anymore, that if you want anything that's a good size, a good weight, and an original wheel you have to find the super Japanese name brands.

There are a LOT more original wheels to be found...it's just that everyone wants the big $ wheels and most people probably can't afford them. Knock off's help fill the void for those that want a certain style. However, what you usually give up with a knock off is choice of size (diameter, offset etc...) and quality of materials. While they look the part, knock offs very very rarely have the finish of the real pieces, nor are they as strong. I'm glad they are out there, don't get me wrong - but it's a buyers market and many buyers want the $ look without spending the $ hehe
If there is ONE company that Rotas are very very well suited, it's Subaru. They knock off many of the Prodrive wheels as well as some Volk and Work etc...and make them accessible in the odd Subaru bolt patterns/offsets. Go to any Subaru forum like www.nasioc.com and you'll find many many Rota freaks!
