Hi , All
I was reading the forum and found this one on supercharging ......GREAT JOB . LOOKS GOOD. It's nice to see someone else that likes supercharged Rotarys. I have also. Here have a look see. http://members.cardomain.com/codeblue2 |

I just watched them too, someone must not of had their smoke or coffe, a bit shakey on the cam there. Ahh well. Find a dyno now ;)

Sorry to be a noob, but the NA FCs dont have LSD, or the same tranny / drivetrain layout as the T2s do they?
|
Na has a differnt trans, drive shaft, rear end half shafts, fly wheel and clutch than NA's
|
Have you considered making some of the parts then selling them ?
|
thanks sonicrat for hosting those
Sorry about the quality, It was one of my twin sisters who was running the camera. I cant connect at all if i drop the clutch even if i warm the tires up first. The first run was was a drop at 2500 rpm and the second was from a 5mph roll Here is a pic of the rubber i leave. I am getting a 4.3lsd and ditching the 3.9 open, you can see why Also i am working on intercooling my system because I have measured the temp on the intake pipe after some hard pulling with an infared Thermometer and it is at about 200 degrees F. I can feel the car lose power after it pulls a little bit because the manifold is getting heat soaked I have a track meet and have to go(It is the gayest thing in the world) I am going to buy a s5 tII complete intake system and adapt that to my n/a block. This will make intercooling an easy task because the throttle body on the TII Comes from the drivers side not the passenger side. I am going to hook up a front mount IC. I wont have a piping mess with the TII intake |
zbrown, where did u get ur bypass valve and Bov?
|
is the Eaton M90 the best fit for a 13b w/ 4 bridgeports. will it flow over the entire RMP range?
Anyone know what all of the factory Ford models came w/ this supercharger stock? What about a Bonneville 3800 SC? Might try this project myself Alfonso |

Might try this project myself Alfonso you're looking for the tbird super coupe from 89- a long time :-D or cougar xr-7. Those are not casted to the intake manifold. If you can find a 94+ supercharger that one is best. I think that the m90 would not move enough air for a good bridge... you'd be better off going with a whipple. you can get just the supercharger new for under 3k I think. check whipple's website. |

This thread is great and im definelty going to do the same to my car. I have the s/c and all the plumbing but still have a few questions. 1st, i would also like to know what blow off valve and bypass valve your using. I like the fact that yours is pretty quiet. The loud ones sound like the transmissions busting everytime you shift. 2nd, How the hell does your car not catch second like a champ, are you taking it easy when shifting? 3rd, are your auxillary ports operating?..I think im gunna use a RPM switch and the air pump from a lumbar seat but if it doenst matter than im not going to bother. And lastly this is my thoughts on an intercooler. Instead of an intercooler i was thinking of wrapping the exhaust manifold and making a heat shield to take care of some of the heat. I really dont wanna get into changeing over to a turbo intake. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, seeing how your getting a new diff, how about a nice Burnout Video...Everyone LOVES burnouts :D |
Also will it be hard to use a Holly with it or is better fuel injected?
What size carb? The engine is a non turbo, Will it work? |

Any thoughts? If you want better boost from your supercharger, an intercooler should be on the upgrade path. You don't need worry the turbo intake swap zbrown is doing, its just what is working best for his setup. I would think having the supercharger mounted on the drivers' side would make plumbing an intercooler very easy. I think more people should be inspired by zbrown, and not copy his work as its a work in progress. If you NEED to copy him, then don't started cheapskating what he does. |

Oh yeah, seeing how your getting a new diff, how about a nice Burnout Video...Everyone LOVES burnouts :D now, why does he not need to actuate his ports? Because the purpose of the ports is to get air moving faster through the other 4 at low rpm's. This allows good bottom and top end. But, since the supercharger is forcing the air into the engine instead of the air being sucked in like it normally is, we want as much port area as possible at all times. |
monkey wants to change the design to not use a intercooler. He wants to follow zbrown's design, but doesn't want to follow the intercooler route because of the specific intake mods zbrown is doing.
A heat shield is not an alternative to an intercooler. |
The m-90 can be found on 89-95 t-bird sc's and mercury cougar xr-7's
|
I will mount my eaton m90 on the drivers side, and get a FMIC and custom pipe it.

I'm waiting for my M90 to get here so I can see. |
There seem to be a few Eaton M90s for Mustang, ford 3.8L V6 on the eBay. Is that the one?

i wonder if this would work on my 85 GLS-SE:confused: guess I'll have to try it and see.
