what? I've never heard this before. who gave you that tip?

I bet its still flooded. take a locking pliers and clamp off the fuel line (don't remember which one) and see if it starts. otherwise, there are a million other ways to start a flooded try some, and see if it starts.

You might have leaky injectors. Also driving short distances or for a short time can cause flooding as well if the car is not fully warmed up.

i hate that egi fuse tip, it has never worked for me(no offense)
what i do is look under the dash just to the right of the steering column and there will be a relay, it looks like a little black plastic 1" x 1" x 1" box with a plug that plugs into it. that is your fuel pump relay unplug the plug and crank the car. it should start up and run on the gas that is flooding the engine....while it is running and burning of the gas in the motor plug the box back up and the fuel pump will start pumping fuel and the car will stay running. might take you a couple tries to get your timing right but it works everytime for me and you dont even have to get out of the car and pop the hood everytime!
