Sureshot, What I was intending to say but didn't really spell out was that if the tire was intended for a max pressure of 44psi rather than 35psi (as the stock ones were) then you would be closer to the optimum grip pressure being higher than the proposed 28psi as everyone in this thread seems to agree on as acceptable.
I'm not about to say fill them to the max and go have fun... But, lower series tires need higher pressures to keep the sidewalls straight.

Anyway, the stock -3 degree camber on the rears is the main factor with 50 or lower profile tires.
When my rears were at 45PSI, the outer tread was off the ground, and handling was scary loose.
When I tested with pressure below 30, it really planted.
I am currently on the stock 15x6 wheels with 225/50-15 Kumho 711's
