My First Project

So I have had my rx7 for about a month now and its time to start doing someting while I am waiting on parts to come in.

The cluster around my gauges and console is trash, the fasteners that hold it in place are basically broken.

I would like to remove it and replace all the switches(headlights, wipers, hazards, blinkers) into a different spot.

I want to build a panel where the radio is(will be removed) out of aluminum and put the necessary types of switches into the panel along with maybe a spot for a boost gauge for the future(car is an NA now).

Does this sound feasible and has it done before? I have seen the gauges but how diffucult would it be to route all my wiring to the new spots for the switches?

Also, does anyone know of maybe a wiring diagram for these switches?

thanks and all input is welcomed,
Thanks
Greg

You will find it much easier to repair the broken plastic than fabricate a whole new dash.
There are some good putty stick type epoxys for plastic repair.

The wiring diagram is in the FSM body electrical section.
Follow the link in my sig.

I am not thinking a whole new dash, just a piece of aluminum where the radio and a/c logicon are at the moment.

thanks
