My first date with the Dyno on Mon. 11th, any sugestions?
Should I use any external methods to cool my intercooler? I.E. Ice??
Do I have to worry about my tranny getting to hot?
Should I shut down after each run?
Anything else I should do, or know?
My goal is to get optimal performace under normal road conditions .. so I'm nt looking really for peak numbers but rather safe A/F Vs. boost levels .. so I am not sure how many Non normal elements I should apply? Ocatne booster or anything like that?
I am still getting a wide band, but I figure I should get my initial setup done on a dyno & with help from profesionals.
Thx for the input,
Robert

Okay bummpity. Also I was reading “Maximum Boost” By Corky Bell and he talks about a 12.5:1 – 13.0:1 A/F ratio on turbo charged vehicles. But from the suggestion’s I have got from most of you I should be shooting for a much richer ~ 11.3:1 Ratio. Does Corky suggest otherwise cause he is not including a rotary engine in the equation? Or are you guys just suggesting a really safe number?

Corky Bell is talking about numbers for piston engine cars - rotaries typically run richer. Low to mid 11's is what you're shooting for. 10's is too rich (killing power), and 12's are getting too lean.
