my first car

i just bought a 88' second gen rx7 turboII for $1,200.
Their is a rebuilt engine in it that my uncle put in and currently has 7,000 miles. The turbo has 1,010 miles on it. my unlce was drifting in it and crashed into a telephone pole, the passenger side is messed up and is badly damaged and will cost me $3,000 at maaco to fix it. My rebuilt engine had a problem in it when i bought it. Their is also low compression in my front rotor and i'm currently trying to find out how to fix it. Is the money i'm might spend on this rx7 worth it?? Or should i just get another car?

Sounds like your going to be out about $6,000 just to get that car on the road. Not worth it to me.

Time for another car.

And don't let your uncle in the next one.

If I were you I would part it out, you could probably get a little more than you paid for it
