my clutch wont disengage, new clutch...whats wrong?

i put it a new throwout bearing, new pivot pin, new clutch and pressureplate.

everything seems like it works well, exept that i have to push the clutch pedal ALL the way to the damn floor to dissengage the clutch.

i have thought about adjusting some stuff under the dash but im not exactly sure what im looking for.

anyone know why?

I was gonna say to check ur clutch hydraulics.........master and slave cylinders.....before you adjust under thee dash. 50 bux and you can have both the master and slave cylinders at your door from www.nopi.com

If it is stock clutch for stock clutch and bleeding it did not resolve the problem, then you have a leak in either your master cylinder or your slave cylinder. Like Madrx7racer said, they are not that expensive to replace. They can also be rebuilt if you are really really on a budget.

i got an exedy clutch with a rps pressureplate, so its not stock.

i talked to my mechanic and he said it may be the flywheel? i dont think so, what do you guys think.

i may just purchase the slave and master cylinders for the hell of it, i may need them sometime in the future anyways.

while we are on that note, how do i check for a faulty slave and master cylinder? imma do a search now =p

check for leaks at the master cylinder and slave and check to see if the little rubber boot on the Slave is cracked or broken.......

Edit: check ur fluid level....if it is lower than what you filled it too you have a leak....My clutch would not disengage once on the freeway......turned out that I had no fluid in the clutch reservoir.
