my cats don't look collapsed... but are they still bad?

At night, mmy cats and exhaust manifold are red while the car is only idling. I looked under the car once after work and they didn't appear red. Also, I am getting somewhat bad gas mileage (250 miles/tank) but that could just be my driving. Power lets out at high RPM's (its intermittent, kind of a "blah blah blah" noise accompanied with no power) and the car seems a bit lethargic, period.

so what do you guys think, gut em?

110k miles on car.

you cant tell if your primary cats are collapsed because of the bends... and these are prone to collapsing. My cats used to glow red, until i gutted them. After i did that she ran STRONG.
