haha mines great except a minor idle problem. It jus jumps up and down every now and then but it's fine once I give it gas. I'm too afraid to actually fix it cause then it might go bad...haha

The motor in my Chevy Nova ran a new best 11.78 @115 mph backed up with 4 more 11.79s-11.81s, then fragged 3 piston skirts on the ride home on the turnpike lol. The previous best was an 11.93 and I had changed NOTHING. Same track, same everything.

Hm....

Ridiculous Theory: At the end of it's life, it wants to go out with a bang and so it pushes harder than ever to try and make you proud.

Less Ridiculous Theory: At the end of its life, the springs pushing out the seals are at their limits so they don't push as hard. This reduces internal frictions allowing for slightly increased performance.

Im Not superstitious (sp?) really, but knock on wood. Wednseday morning at IHOP my check was $6.66. I looked at it and laughed, commenting to two of my buddy's: "Man, this is a sign or something, the rx7 is going to get wrecked". We all had a good laugh. THursday morning i dozed off behind the wheel after working an overnight for extra hours...
