with that said remove the rust from all sides, if you just remove the rust from the top side. Guess what the rust from the bottom side will (eat) through to the top side. And the rust should not come back if it ALL is removed just like sexindarex said. And just one more thing about the lead thing BE SAFE if it was me i wouldnt do the lead thing once you do get the hang of fiberglass its a cake walk its very very easy to fix. hope that this helps

yea man I was looking at that the other day. It looks great!! I actually changed my mind and will be painting the car silver instead of black. It was the original color I was going to go with anyway. I hope mine looks as good as yours though. It will be a garage paint job as well. If done right it will look as good as any other paint job. I will post more pics when it gets painted.

what is more likely to crack is the front bumper. The rear is easier to fix than the front and the rear doesn't have to come off for anything. That was my thinking and thats why I did it. I would never mold on the front bumper I had friends crack their front bumpers many times. Luckily theirs wasn't molded so it was easy to pull off.

I agree with sex I did the same thing as him mold the rear and sides and not the front... I also had a friend with an accord and had a full fiberglass kit molded to the front rear and sides... he got rearended and it cracked but was definately fixable it didnt do too much damage. But when somebody hit is car when it was parked in a garage (they just knicked his front bumper) it was enough to pull it slightly and cracked the whole thing and all the bondo work it was a serious pita to clean up that situation.

hey guys I finally got my car painted. It looks really good. There are some areas that could have been better though. But it's oko I will be putting on some graphics to cover up these areas. The hood is probably the area I am most unhappy with but hey the paint job was FREE! I will post pictures soon.

yea true. The speedmachineperformance RX7 has the same problem. I wanted to put the front bumper from the kit on but it just didn't fit right it was tooo off.
