A few pics of my progress. Does anyone think my fan blades have any negative affects from being a little dinged up. I wonder if the PO tried to test his fan with it spinning lol.

That tiny amount of damage shouldn't matter but you could dress with a file or sandpaper and clean it right up.

Your bay is very clean, kudos for that.
I wonder though why the cruise module is still in place if you're not going to use it.

Never though about sanding/filing it smooth, Ill go try it. Should clean up nicer then. And I just zip tied it out the way, never thought to remove it, guess I will be adding to my list of thing to do today. Thanks clokker!

After being out in the cold garage for 5 hrs last night, I made some progress. I change the top Tb hose back to normal. Also since I was in the BAC area I replaced that gasket. Then saw it was disconnected!!! And the little connector below it was half hanging off too. I think that's the aws connector. So its back on now along with the temp guage I put in the WP to BAC hose. Problem with that is after I hooked it up all I got was lighting. Who knows where I screwed up but it was too cold to check 3 times. I got a new thermostat coming to eliminate that. I hope it is just the t stat. This stuff driving me crazy, I can't sleep when things aren't right.

Update: I finally got the new water temp guage hooked up. I had to ground the adapter the sender went into. Temps look great 180-185. I did change my vac routing again as to Aarons advice in my other thread. Just need a pcv valve that will fit. Anyone have a car they know will work. The parts store sent me in the back to search on my own.

So the past 2 days I've noticed my temps climb to just about 200 when I have come to a stop. A good example is when I goto a drive thru food place. So I see it get to 200 and by then I'm usually getting back on the road. By the time I'm home is down to 190ish. Most of the time i see 180-185 when i go to work. So this should be the clutch fan if I've done my homework. Or is it normal to rise like that as long as I'm not getting any hotter?

The temps on my new guage sits at 195 not 200 as I described. I was reading it wrong. I guess my question is, when the temps rise, at what point should it come back down. And at what temp should it settle back too?

Well after fixing things back to drivable I start the car today and the idle was just a bouncing away. I forgot to jump the set coupler when I readjusted the idle and tps last night. Oops, dam lucky she made it to work lol. So it was drivable but I knew the tps was off. So when I got home I adjusted the idle/tps again. Took me a few try's to get it back to what I feel is normal. Its weird how making a few adjustments can make the car feel and sound so different. I can only imagine how sweet brand new equipment would be.

Today I decided to get to the leaky rear iron coolant hose. Everything came off smooth just like it should. Not even 5 mins after I had the uim, tb, and dynamic off I spotted a vac port that had a rubber nipple that was split 3 ways.So I got excited that I will have an even better running 7 after this. I did get the o rings for the injectors as they looked as bad as I thought they would. Is it easy to change the o ring? I think I should at least do the secondary injector ones. I wish I had time to take them and get em cleaned and flow tested. But time is short, I gotta drive her tomorrow.

Im back at it again. So after replacing the hose I noticed it was still leaking. Figures its coming out at the bottom of the rear iron coolant nipple. So I have the red rtv sealant and jb weld. Also i have the black gasket maker stuff. I'm not blocking it off, just going to try and seal around the base of it and hope it stops leaking. Which one of these should I try?

update for future ref:

The air blend control was working but acting funny. I put it on hot and watched underneath where metal rod moves the vent for hot and cold. It would literally move itself to cold, If i pushed it back to hot it would just take it back to cold. So i unhooked it and moved the vent to the warm position. And the heat is on working fine now. I also got a new clutch fan and now my temps on the stock guage appear a tad lower, holding halfway most of the time. While the aftermarket one read 180-185 all morning. I did notice my radiatior looked bad, i saw dark spots on it and alot of fins damaged. Also the fan shroud is cracked at the bottom and not fastened in. I see a new koyo & fan shroud in my near future.

Well stock guage is still running up to 3/4. Where does the wire from the guage go straight to the ecu?. And I changed to another fan clutch so it can't be it.

The water temp gauge does not connect to the ECU at all.
The ECU gets coolant temp info from a completely different sensor located on the back of the waterpump housing.
