My 13B-RE swap is done!!
Well, mostly, anyway.
The swap was done by myself and John (banzaitoyota). While we were working on the motor, we also repainted the engine bay, rewired the Haltech, removed all wiring in the driver's side harness that was no longer used (i.e. headlight popup controls, etc), and installed a GReddy R-spec FMIC.
Things yet to be done include finishing up wrapping the wiring loom, replacing a test pipe in the IC setup with a mandrel bent aluminum one, and starting on the interior wiring (gauges and whatnot).
Anyway, hope you enjoy. . . http://scrx-7s.com/images/ReeseAE

Hey you set your relays up just like me
But what is that attached to your heatshield?

Looks like you painted your engine bay whine the motor was out. What paint company and paint color code did you use? I am looking into painting my engine bay when the N/A motor is out before the TII goes in. Looks good.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! To answer a few questions. . .
Hybrid, I'm planning on tuning it soon enough with the Oz DIY wideband in a couple of weeks.
Revvin, The 'orange stuff' is a heat resistant tape that is good for over 500 degrees if memory serves me correctly. I'll be putting split loom over it for looks. I can try to find out exactly what it's called if you're interested.
As for the relays, I actually got the idea from BlueTII's setup. That large thing connected to the heatshield is the main part of my HKS EVC I boost controller.
RXSpyder, my total cost. . .well, I already had the Haltech, 60-1 turbo, manifold, etc. If we're talking about the cost of just the motor swap, that would be:
13B-RE
custom mounts from fc3s.org
Those two things cost about 2150 plus shipping through Dave Gibson at fc3s.org.
I don't even like to THINK about what my total project has cost me so far.![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, for a more complete idea of what I have in my baby, look here.

that is some seriously badass intercooler piping there.
I was wondering, what're the main differences between the RE and the REW, other than one having two turbos?

Wow, looks great! Will definitely be keeping your name handy as I'm in the process of starting this swap! Got the engine on the way, just need a reasonably warm day and some time to get started!
Good job!

Detriuch, my old motor was totally unusable, so I got the -RE.
Wankelman, it's totally stock at the moment. At some point down the road I'll probably tear it down to freshen it up and possibly port it somewhat.
I'm running a Garrett 60-1 with .70 comp side and 1.15 hot side. I haven't been boosting yet since I'm not tuned yet, but I'm intending to run up to 10-15 psi.
Trav, let me know. I'll help out as much as possible.
