ok, so question...how come sometimes the motor will produce afterburn (u know, hold a gear at WOT and let off suddenly) w/o shooting flames?? or is it just that they are so small I can't see them from the back hehe my car will only blast when I let the EGT's get hot enough then I back off to take a corner and hear a series of LOUD pops and backfires...still can't see the flames though My first motor would pop after each shift above 5K rpm, this motor only seems to do it after the motor has been under load THEN let off at high rpm. Both motors were NA's...the AFM signal is leaned out quiet a bit and I see solid 850 celcius EGT's at redline in 3rd. car pulls hard, could timing be off?? no airpump and the ACV is blocked off...ideas??

*ricey* A BOV will do nothing on an NA but deplete your account by $200 bux and if we're talking about how the 13B naturally produces afterburn/flames with an free-flowing exhaust then why would anyone want to run fuel lines and spark plugs?? (well, why would anyone want to do that to begin with on any car?). I wanna know why my afterburn is intermittent and only after a constant load...
