And one could say the same about the n/a RX-7. A sports car that has a hard time running 14's....

 

i'm the friend THEDGUY is talking about. i seriously think its really raelly pathetic. i mean i dont hate the rx-7 in anyway. its a nice car. i dont understand why rx-7 people (not all, but some) think they desigined the engine "well my engine has the most power per liter, and i only have so many moving parts, my engine is way better. ok good for you. also others who think..."Ford, i dont like ford, so the mustang is a shitty car." yoiu can say the smae about toyota.....they make the tercel, the tercel is a shitty car....sofore the 96 supra TT is a shitty car....thats really ignorant. i could also say the smae about mazda trucks. but its not about the manufacter, its about the car. personally i really like late 80's fox body mustangs, light and powerful. or atleast it has enough power to move it. and i dont see why people say it handles shitty. mine handles alright, if it were a little wider it would be great. i jsut think bagging on a car cuz of its manufacter, is so ignorant. there is more to life people

I hope your talking about an S2000, or an NSX or the new RSX type r (even tho here they are acura, except the 2000). Because I've watched a $1400 Mustang gt (5.0) that was stock (and even "running like crap") beat a 31,000 Civic SI.

Mustangs are like hondas, there loud and don't go anywhere. Plus they get extra pissed off when you spank there *** with a 1.3L

 

How many of you have even DRIVEN a Mustang? I'm talking V8 here. Most of you guys are completely clueless when it comes to these cars. Many of you haven't even experienced real torque. Granted, many Mustang owners are ******, but so are many FD owners, Supra owners, etc. It does not mean the car sucks. Mustangs are fun cars. Period. They have incredible aftermarket support and are more reliable than your mothers. Oh, and for all of you haters, my T-Bird kills my Rex, and my girlfriend's Fox kills my T-Bird. And her car will outlast any 13B out there.

Don't hate on cars because of your experience (or lack there of) with the drivers. Hate the drivers. I like RX-7s alot, but some of you are giving our cars a bad rap simply because of your ricer attitudes.

I sure hope a link to this does not get posted on the corral.

Than the Viper GTR was sweet also!

But i think the team Subaru Rally car was the most fun.

are you guys nuts? if you love high end speed then i can see how you didlike mustangs but as far as off the line.. low end torque.. 1/4 mile go.. mustangs are far easier to make better.. and who cares about stock?? i see all these people bashing cars "stock our car is better then this stock car..." how many people here drive a stock car?? it's stupid if you want 1/4 times or off the line speed the mustang is gonna take you alot farther then the Rex.. i have a 87 Rex by the way.. but i also know of a few friends with street legal 10sec mustangs without an engine swap.. do that in a rex.. how about a 10 rex with an mazda offered engine.. riiiiiight... i love the rex.. and want high revving.. high end speed and untouchable handling but i'm not going to bash cars that are made for a complete different reason.. The mustang is good at what its made for stairght line accel. the Rex is good at what its made for.. you can't compare apples and oranges

Too be honest, I've seen more fast mustangs than fast 7's.

 

I don't hate V-8's I hate the cars that they are in example mustang.
