Mufflers

If I buy a set of non-rotary specific mufflers, like a set of OBXs, how long can I expect them to last before the packing burns out?

There's no such thing as a "rotary-specific" muffler. Just make sure it is packed with steel wool, not fibreglass, or it'll last about a week...

ok, well, I need a new set of mufflers, but I don't exactly have $520 to spend on a pair of racing beat mufflers. Any suggestions on some good mufflers packed with steel wool that are a bit cheaper? Say around $100-$150 a piece?

Looks like I'm going to be getting a set of the Corksport universal mufflers. It says they are stainless construction and packed. Hopefully all will go well.

www.borla.com

They have some basic oval style mufflers for about $150. Get a center inlet/offset outlet straight thru style. They are quality pieces but can get pricey.

I plan on getting OBX's eventually as well. They look pretty good and are packed with steel, not fiberglass.

tIIforever:
Is there any way you could get pics and/or a sound clip of them? Oh and which ones are you getting? Let me know how it turns out. Thanks.
