Muffler Question...

Im sorry for bringing up the subject again...but it is a quick question....I welcome any mod to close or even delete the thread after my question has been answered.

But are these mufflers good for their price and will they hold up to the exhaust heat of a rotary engine?

I wouldn't recomend cheap mufflers. Your car will sound like ****. Mufflers like the ones you linked will sound raspy. Invest in a RB catback and your car will sound fantastic and it won't look like fart cans.

Yea....my budget for an exhaust...for the time being is less than 200$ Thats why Im thinking of getting these. If someone is selling a whole bolt on exhaust after the main cat or from the header back(I plan on gutting the cats if I have no money to get whole new piping)

YOUR opinion. Not everyone likes the RB exhaust *raises hand*

Anyways, back to the question. I have ebay mufflers, I've had them for a year, they are loud but they work, and they are holding up fine.

I never questioned the quality. And someone who doesn't like the RB exhaust needs to try it first. If you like the rice look and raspy chainsaw exhaust then by all means shop on ebay. And I don't think its only my opinion when it comes to RB exhaust.

Did I say it was only your opinion? No... I just said that comment you made was your opinion, most likely it's others too. I don't like the RB because of how it looks, it hangs too low and is not my style honestly. The only person that has ever gotten it to look good and not hang low and look saggy was RarestRX, but I've never seen anyone else accomplish that.

I have no chainsaw or raspy sound with my ebay mufflers, just loud. It's more of a deep sound than raspy.

Yeah some of us like ricer mufflers. *points and laughs*

Don't buy cheap ****. Buy good quality mufflers. RB or Borla get my vote.

Yah they're ricer, I don't really care

They were cheap, and I made a full system for much less than the RB. They are also straight through and not restrictive at all (hence the loudness ) and that's all I really cared about.

Alright thanks.....I will probably just go with the "ricer" mufflers.(as you riceaphobic people call them...geez every thing is rice now a days....hmm)..Why? Because its in my budget...when I save up more money...most likely after the rebuild or the TII swap(juss the engine is all I need...gots everything else) I will then get a better exhaust system that will be maybe quieter and better but...hey I also like the "ricer" look....and thanks dDub for answering my question and thank you all for giving me your opinions...I will keep them in my head as I decide everything out...who knows...i might just get the RB or Borla or I might just stick to the ebay ones....-=shrugs=- only the future can tell us that
