More data about which header design makes more power

This is from Paul Yaws page..

I have also seen this header setup made by a friend of mine almost 7 years ago, so this isn't new tech here, but it backs up what I have said before and even shows you a dyno of the power increase, which can be as high as 28% higher than other headers.

The first three inches of each primary pipe exit straight from the exhaust port. Flowbench testing shows that an abrupt bend at the port outlet disturbs the flow patterns through the port significantly affecting the airflow.

So what I am trying to show is, get the RB race header and cut it up and add more piping, and you can have the same increase...

I wonder if that will fit a second gen? Looks like the rear rotor pipe sticks out kind of far and might hit the frame.

No it does not. You have 8 1/2" from block to frame rail, that leaves about 4" before you come in contact with the frame rail...

A header box/heatsheild helps keep the heat down under the hood, and also keeps it from transfering heat to the frame/body of the car, which adds to the overall heat under the hood.

I have a header box on my car, with a 4" cold air duct connected to the box, which pushes cold air into the header box via a electric fan.

This made such a temp difference it shows on my temp guage of the engine!
