more 10ae problems

ok i got some more problems. when i first got the car everything was fine except for a real bad hotstart problem. they all started when i out the newer injectors in. the first problem is they were low and stock is high. i put the resistors in like i was suppose to. the car ran like crap down low but great up top. i did a compression test and only got 30psi on the rear. the onlything i can think is i either did the test wrong or the tester was broken. i thought maybe if i swap back to the stock injectors i would know if it was blown or not. i put the stock high impedence injectors back in and now the car won't hardley run at all. pops a whole lot, i hit the gas and about 3 seconds later the car will rev and it won't hold an idle. i did leave the low impedence injectors in the secondaries though. is there any problem doing this? if not what else could be my problem? im lost. please help me asap

did you disconnect your Mass AirFlow Sensor ?

Also a piston compression tester's results are unreliable on a rotary engine. You need the rotary compression tester that can pull 3 numbers per rotor.

i had disconnected the mass air but it is hooked up now. i used a piston tester but pulled out the check valve so it won't hold a reading. i used the same tester on my friends car and got 60psi. i still need to get my damn car running so i can get it to where i rebuild it if need be

Got you PM, but I can't help you too much more as I'm not 100% sure what's the actual problem.

Your saying though the car's ran fine up till now except for the hotstart problems?

If it's not able to hold on idle reguardless of which injectors you use, it could be several things. Hotstart / flooding is normally old/worn injectors like your saying. Does putting the stock inectors back in (in the correct order) let you crank the car at all? I'm assuming with hot starting you're pulling the EGI fuse & de-flooding the engine (86-88) or fuel cut by pushing the pedal to the floor (89-92).

i need to knwo why when i went back to the stock injectors in the primaries im now having all these problems. i need to drive the car to a friends to rebuild the engine. with the low impedence it just runs rough. i put the stock ones back in and now it will barely run at all. the only thing i can think of is i reused the o-rings on the injecotrs (they were replaced when i put in the low impedence less than 100 miles ago) could they not be sealing or somehting?

i know the motor is blown. i already ordered the rebuild kit and new housings. i want to know why it ran a little rough after i put in the low impedence injectors (with resistors) but when i swapped back to the stock high impedence injectors (with no resistors) the car won't idle, backfires real bad and won't hold an idle. i need to be able to drive it to the place im doing the work on it.

Let me tell you, my TII ran GREAT when my engine went...just didn't idle worth ****. Turns out 2 apex seals on the rear rotor had an edge cracked off. Just goes to show you that just because the engine runs fine above idle, doesn't mean its still good
