Maybe I'm too practical, but I think that both are fine. You should get what you like. When looking for seats, note that there is a difference between racing seats and non-racing seats. Racing seats do not recline, are usually designed for use with racing harnesses (usually not technically street legal), and may be FIA homologated (impact rated for 24G's for 50ms). Non-racing seats are more comfortable, and are usually designed for standard safety belts, but the reclining feature is not as safe in a collision. If you are only driving on the street, then the non-racing seats are probably a better idea.
I have Momo racing seats in my cars. Here are my impressions:
Momo Rookie (Start) - Great price for an FIA seat, decent comfort.
Momo 1000 Lakes - Very comfortable and lots of support. Larger people should get the wider Momo Acropolis.
Cobra, Corbeau, OMP, and Recaro are also popular seat manufacturers.

IMHO, a lot of the Momo stuff is too showy for me - some of their shift ***** and steering wheels are hideous. Sparco tends to be more hardcore stuff, and their seats are of excellent quality - Momo's seats are probably good too, though .
Anyhow, I have a Sparco Ring steering wheel in my car, for what it's worth. Razo for the shift ****, though - Razo's stuff is simply amazing. Momo shift ***** are ultra bobo with the allen head set screws - I hate those things!

For me Momo just does It for me. I'm sure Sparco, Razo etc appeals to many but It boils down to a matter of preference. I mean why should I fall Into a brand b'c everybody Is for It?
BTW, I just picked up the Momo Tomahawk Shift ****:

I like MOMO due to their heritage with Ferrari. I have seats, steering wheel, pedal covers, and a tasteful shiftknob that looks very nice...If I could only get my car running...

Oh yeah, can all you guys who have Momo and Sparco seats tell me what you used to get them in there? There's a previous post uptop asking about this. I had to get these custom brackets by Sparco that took two months to deliver. They came out to about 170 bucks together.
