Misfiring

Hi guys, was doing some spirited run last night and around 4-6k rpm, I heard light misfirng through the exhaust which sounded lil' like pops & crackle. Very mild and minor loss of power felt. Tried slowly bringing up the speed (part throttle) of the engine, while doing that, no misfirng was detect. Only happened during WOT. What could be causing this? I'm suspecting my ignition system but plugs has been changed less than a yr ago. Also, I've fitted a Skyline GTR fuel pump lately but I doubt that could be causing it.

The rubber shroud behind the headlight in front of the air filter was removed to get more air into the engine, and its been raining for the past few days so could it be my air mass sensor gotten wet on shorted?? Thanks in advance for those replying coming in.
