Might have found my new baby!

Well maybe... I have been looking for a S5 N/A for a bit to make a weekend/ track car out of but I wanted one near mint condition for 600 not running... well I hadn't had luck w/ that but tonight I was driving and saw a saphire blue S4 n/a for sale. Not bad condition so I called the guy he is asking $800 which is more then I wanted to pay but this one had a brand new engine put in at 89000 miles and now has about 150000. I think I am gonna go look at it a little more tomorrow and get compression numbers put it up on a lift and do an inspection. With this one I wouldn't need to buy rims as it has a decent set on it and I wouldn't need to make it run but its an S4 not an S5. Anyways would you guys offer him less or would you jump on the deal before its gone?

If everything looks good man I'd certainly say that $800 is a deal. Especially if the rims and tires are decent.

All you'd have to do then is get a decent set of coilovers and 4-piston brakes and you'll have a nice track warrior.
