Summit Racing in their new catalog list a SUM-630503. It's a mirrored finish stainless steel can.. It looks like a straight through design.. it's listed as "free-flow" with full stainless steel on the inside.

The specs are 6in round, 14 1/4in long, 2 1/4 inlet with a blingtastic 4 1/2in polished ss tip.

All for..... $69.95 each!

Add this to the SUM-630625 or 630630 that would work great as a presilencer for 129.95 and you have what looks like a pretty good setup for not a lot of money.

What kind of piping you putting with it? Crush bent or stock would just be stupid. Get a real exhaust, mandral bent aka HKS or Corksport even if you want to go cheap.

Sheesh.. the second gen forum has gone to hell.

#1 Zero Cylinder.. I'm going to restrain myself from flaming you for your worthless post.

#2 RXSE7N I'm not doing it myself. Look at my sig for my setup. There are a LOT of people that don't like the aftermarket systems because frankly most are overpriced. There is nothing wrong with someone using a quality crush bent pipe but they could take it to a shop that does mandrel bends..

Okay let's break it down..

Racing Beat downpipe and presilencer are going to run you 250.00

The lowest cost full stainless steel exhaust is going to be the Borla and that's 400.00.. so for 650.00 you can have an "off the shelf" getup.

OR if you are on a budget you can get the Summit parts above for 300.00 and pay a shop about 100.00 to weld it up for you so you save 200.00 and you still have a full stainless presilencer and full stainless cans that are going to last.

Hell go ahead and get two of the Summit presilencers and two of the cans.. forget about the downpipe and get the Racing Beat true dual header kit from Mazdatrix for 78.00 and then figure in $200.00 for labor and you can have a TRUE DUAL system that will last for $685.00!!

Look.. the tips are kinda big but the performance is there. It's all about options. Most FC guys are all about the DIY and this is just another option for them. Don't go hating on it just because it isn't name brand.
